Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) are a binding agreement between you and DYM LABS LLC(“Shelfie,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) governing your use of the Shelfie mobile app and the shelfie.bio website (together, the “Service”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.

Shelfie lets you photograph items you collect, get an AI-generated identification and estimated market value range, organize items into folders and collections, and optionally share public or link-only profiles at shelfie.bio/@yourusername. We may add, change, or remove features over time.

You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age required in your country) to use Shelfie. You're responsible for the activity under your account and for keeping your login secure. You agree to provide accurate information and to let us know promptly if you suspect unauthorized use. You can sign in with an email one-time code, Sign in with Apple, or Sign in with Google.

Shelfie is free to download. Some features require Shelfie Pro, a paid auto-renewing subscription. Current plans are:

• Monthly - $9.99/month, with a $0.99 introductory first month.
• Annual - $29.99/year, with a 7-day free trial.
• We may also offer promotional offers from time to time.

Billing through the Apple App Store. Shelfie Pro is purchased and billed through your Apple App Store account. Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase.

Auto-renewal. Your subscription automatically renews at the then-current price unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your Apple ID is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the period ends. If a free trial is offered, any unused portion is forfeited when you purchase a subscription, where applicable.

Managing & cancelling. You can manage or cancel your subscription anytime in your Apple App Store account settings. Deleting the app does not cancel your subscription.

Refunds.Payments are generally non-refundable except where required by law or by Apple's App Store policies. Refund requests are handled by Apple. We never receive or store your payment card details - Apple processes all payments.

Prices may change. If we change subscription pricing, we'll give notice as required, and changes won't affect your current billing period.

Shelfie's identifications and value ranges are generated by AI using public marketplace data and are provided for informational purposes only and on an “as-is” basis. They are not professional appraisals and we make no guaranteeas to their accuracy, completeness, or that any item will sell for an estimated amount. Don't rely on them for insurance, sale, purchase, tax, or other financial decisions without independent verification.

You agree not to:

• Break the law, infringe others' rights, or upload content you don't have the right to share.
• Upload unlawful, harmful, hateful, harassing, deceptive, or sexually exploitative content.
• Reverse-engineer, scrape, overload, disrupt, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service.
• Misrepresent items, impersonate others, or use the Service to deceive or defraud.
• Resell or commercially exploit the Service without our permission.

You keep ownership of the photos, item details, notes, and other content you add (“Your Content”). To operate the Service, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, process, and display Your Content - and, where you choose to make a folder or profile public or link-only, to display that content publicly through your profile and shared links. This license exists only to run and improve the Service and ends when you delete the content or your account, except for content that's already been shared publicly or retained as required by law or in backups for a limited time.

You're responsible for Your Content and confirm you have the rights to share it.

The Service - including the Shelfie name, logo, software, and design - is owned by DYM LABS LLC and protected by intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, personal, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Service under these Terms. You may not copy, modify, or create derivative works from the Service except as permitted by law.

The Service relies on third parties - including Supabase, OpenAI, Firebase Cloud Messaging, RevenueCat, Apple, Resend, and public marketplace sources - and may link to third-party content. We're not responsible for third-party services or content, and your use of them may be governed by their own terms.

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We don't warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that value estimates will be accurate. Some jurisdictions don't allow certain warranty exclusions, so some of these may not apply to you.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, DYM LABS LLC and its officers, employees, and suppliers won't be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim or USD $50. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that can't be limited under applicable law.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless DYM LABS LLC from claims, damages, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from Your Content, your use of the Service, or your violation of these Terms or of any law or third-party rights, to the extent permitted by applicable law.

You can stop using the Service and delete your account at any time (email hello@shelfie.bio to request deletion). We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms, create risk or legal exposure, or if we stop offering the Service. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination (such as ownership, disclaimers, and limitation of liability) will survive.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules, and you and we agree to the jurisdiction of the courts located in Delaware for disputes - except where applicable law gives you the right to bring proceedings in your home jurisdiction.

EU and other consumer rights.If you're a consumer in the EU, UK, or another region with mandatory consumer protections, nothing in these Terms removes the protections and rights you have under the laws of your country of residence, and those mandatory rights continue to apply to you.

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we'll update the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the app. Your continued use of the Service after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
